It is no secret that I love flowers. I enjoy flower arranging, floral patterns and I have pinned a plethora of fabric flower tutorials on Pinterest. I purchased two yards of this vintage fabric at a garage sale for a whopping fifty cents.
The first Pinterest project that I tackled was crafting these foil rosettes. If you are my friend outside of the blog world and you would like for me to make you a rosette pin, leave me a comment below.
I am linking this post up with the Pleated Poppy’sWhat I Wore Wednesday link party. I learned a few things from this post. First of all, capturing a descent photo of myself was more difficult than I imagined. Perhaps I should have created a MySpace account as a teenager to perfect this skill. Secondly, I need a haircut.
Next I updated my old Target cardigan with heart shaped elbow patches. Head over to A Beautiful Mess for the tutorial.
The small updates to my sweater make me happy. I plan on wearing it on Valentine’s Day when I am arranging flowers at the shop like a mad woman.

ReplyDeleteGood work! I love the rosettes.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your sweater. The idea of adding the touch of floral to a great colored sweater that clearly goes with your skin tone was terrific! And the elbow patches are just too charming ;-)
